My absolute favourite city in the world. “Leave NY and you go bush!” the locals like to say. Back there a few years ago with our adult children, Dianne and I were keen to show them the place where we had lived and loved - in another lifetime. It was Christmas time and although we weren’t given a heavy snowfall, there was sleet and icy sidewalks down Fifth Avenue. The festive colours and lights and energy made it quite magical.
